Parallel session 1.3
Geographic data for cycle route development: from Open Source to Google

📆 Tuesday 24 September

🕑 11:15-12:45

📍 Parallel room 2

🎤 Lecture

Crowdsourced, open data, as well as large platforms, can help EuroVelo and cycle route development in several ways: clearly mapping the infrastructure issues, giving useful overall figures to advocate for more investments, or providing detailed information to the final users, even involving them in data collection. This session will present projects involving geographic data based on different kinds of solutions and methods.
