VENUE
The venue for the EuroVelo & Cycling Tourism Conference 2024 – Tinghallen – is perfectly situated in the centre of Viborg, near the shopping street, the bus and train station and city hall. Tinghallen can accommodate up to 2,200 seated participants in the main conference hall and at the foyer you will find direct entry to the new Hotel Peak12. Tinghallen offers easy access to restaurants, lounge facilities, handball and football arenas, bowling alleys and cinemas and also offers more than 1,600 free parking spaces in the area.
Tinghallen offers an in-house service with hotel bookings and closely collaborates with the main hotels in the city centre – Hotel Peak12, The Golf Hotel (with its amazing views over the lake) and the Palads Hotel.
The conference hotel for EuroVelo 2024 is Hotel Peak 12. Opened in 2022, the hotel offers 155 state-of-the-art rooms with Viborg’s best views. Here, modern design is combined with Scandinavian interiors and solutions with sustainability in mind. Peak12 Hotel is certified Green Key, Travel Sustainable & has the Organic Food Label in Bronze.
