Hærvejen – The Ancien Road – had led travellers through the peninsula of Jutland for more than thousand years.

In present times the 15 municipalities along the road has joined forces in “Udvikling Hærvejen” – an organization with the purpose of developing the road touristic and recreational, e.g. infrastructure, customer experience and accessibility.
